Flying Cards is a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom, selling sealed Pokémon TCG products and single cards. Trading address: 39 Arosa Drive, Birmingham, B17 0SB, United Kingdom.
We are not currently VAT registered. All prices shown are inclusive of any applicable taxes. Contact: hello@flyingcards.co.uk.
When you place an order you are making an offer to buy from us. We accept that offer when your payment is confirmed: at that point a contract is formed between us, and we email you a confirmation of it. Before that point we may decline an order — for example if the item is out of stock, if a price was listed incorrectly, or if we cannot deliver to your address. Very occasionally an item sells out in the moments between your payment going through and us confirming stock; if that happens we cancel the order, refund you in full straight away, and email you to explain. We will not cancel a paid order for any other reason without contacting you first.
There is a purchase limit of 2 units per product per order. High-demand new releases may carry a lower limit shown on the product page.
All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) and include any applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed. Payment is taken at checkout via Stripe; we do not store card details.
We ship to UK addresses only, and live shipping rates are quoted at checkout based on your postcode and parcel size, with the following standard options:
Orders are normally dispatched within 3 working days of your payment being confirmed. The transit times above are the courier's own estimates and start from the day we hand your parcel over. Unless we agree something else with you, we will deliver within 30 days of your order being confirmed. If we miss a delivery time we have agreed with you, you can give us a new reasonable deadline; if we miss that as well, you can cancel and get a full refund.
Risk passes to you on delivery — until the parcel is in your hands, the goods are our responsibility. If your parcel is late, damaged or lost in transit, contact us and we will sort it out with the courier — chasing them is our job, not yours.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. The 14-day period starts on the day you (or someone you nominate) physically receive the goods.
To cancel, email us at hello@flyingcards.co.uk with your order number, or use the model cancellation form below. You then have a further 14 days from the day you tell us to send the goods back.
When you cancel, we refund what you paid for the goods and the standard delivery cost you paid to receive them. If you chose a faster or premium delivery option, we refund the cost of our cheapest standard option rather than the upgrade.
You pay the cost of sending the goods back to us, unless they are faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described — in those cases we cover it. We recommend a tracked service and keeping your proof of postage.
We refund you once we have the goods back, or once you show us evidence that you have sent them, whichever happens first. Refunds are made within 14 days of that point, to the same payment method you used to pay.
You can cancel a sealed product even if you have already opened it. But if you have handled it more than you could have in a shop, we can reduce your refund to reflect the value the goods have lost.
With sealed trading-card products, almost all of the value is in the sealed packaging: an unopened booster box, Elite Trainer Box or bundle can be resold as sealed stock, and an opened one cannot. So if the factory seal is broken the reduction is usually large, and where packs have been opened or cards taken out it can be most or all of what you paid.
Checking the outside of the box — the set, the condition of the packaging, that it is the product you ordered — does not reduce your refund. We will tell you the amount of any reduction, and why, before we process your refund.
Single cards can be cancelled and returned in the same 14-day window, and as long as the card comes back in the condition it was sent there is nothing to deduct.
None of this applies when goods are faulty, damaged, or not as we described them: in that case you get a full refund, we pay the return postage, and it makes no difference whether the product was sealed or opened.
Nothing in this section affects the statutory rights described in section 6.
